Loudon County Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter offering dog and cat adoptions and will help Pets for Patriots members find their new best friend.

Loudon County Animal Shelter works to ensure the well-being of both people and animals residing in the county by providing compassionate care and adoption for abused, stray, unwanted and impounded animals, promoting responsible pet ownership and enforcing state animal regulations. In addition, the shelter educates the public on the importance of spay/neuter as a humane means of reducing the number of unwanted animals in Loudon County.

As part of its efforts to rehome as many pets as possible, the dedicated staff at Loudon County Animal Shelter participates in numerous adoption fairs as well as other events each year. Volunteers of any age are welcome at the shelter, and are strongly encouraged to visit the shelter to socialize with all of their available animals.
