About SPCA of Texas – Dallas

The SPCA of Texas offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans in Dallas and Collin Counties through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

Founded in 1938, the SPCA operates a shelter with satellite locations in local area Petsmart stores, wellness clinics, and an animal rescue center. The SPCA of Texas provides a range of animal advocacy programs and services, including ways to fight animal cruelty and humane education programs for children. In addition, the organization maintains a team of animal cruelty investigators who respond to calls in seven North Texas counties.

The SPCA of Texas welcomes monetary donations as well as in-kind contributions from its wish list. To help the animals in their care consider sponsoring a shelter pet, becoming one of their valued volunteers, or fostering an animal waiting for adoption.
