About Pueblo Animal Services
Pueblo Animal Services offers dog and cat adoptions to members of our program and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. The organization is a division of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR), which contracted with both the city and county of Pueblo for all shelter and animal enforcement services.
In addition to pet adoption, Pueblo Animal Services provides many essential animal welfare services, such as pet lost and found, licensing, and investigating cases of cruelty, abuse and neglect. The shelter makes it facility available for tours to school classes, scout troops and other organizations as part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership and humane education.
Animals are received for owner surrender Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm, Saturday-Sunday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Pueblo Animal Services welcomes monetary donations, as well as bath towels, blankets, pet food and other essentials; see their complete wish list for details.
Adoption Fees Include:
Free health exam at participating veterinarian
