About Prince George’s County Animal Services Division

Prince George’s County Animal Services Division offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

The shelter is responsible for a range of essential community services in addition to pet adoption. It responds to calls about sick and injured animals, and investigates animal cruelty complaints. In addition, Prince George’s County Animal Services Division ensures that dogs, cats, and ferrets are properly licensed and inoculated against rabies.

Prince George’s County Animal Services Division welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of various supplies. See their complete wish list for details. Become one of their valued youth or adult volunteers for a more hands on experience.
