About Pasco County Animal Services
Pasco County Animal Services offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The organization is the only municipal shelter in Pasco County and is working towards a “save 90%” goal for the animals in its care.
In addition to companion pet adoption, Pasco County Animal Services provides animal control services, licensing and humane education to the public. As part of its commitment to the communities it serves, the shelter offers a Dog Watch Program to increase awareness of responsible pet ownership, offers speakers and facility tours, and offers a range of animal health and safety information on its website.
Pasco County Animal Services welcomes participation of volunteers age 16 and older for various responsibilities including dog walking, adoption aide, cat socializer, and photographer, among others. See their complete list of volunteer opportunities for more information and an application.
