Oak Ridge Animal Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The shelter is responsible for animal control, enforcement of animal laws, and cruelty investigations as well. Volunteers are an important complement to the full-time Oak Ridge Animal Shelter staff, and help to socialize, exercise, and care for the animals in their charge.
