- Age-appropriate vaccinations
- Basic veterinary exam
- Behavior assessment
- Collar
- FeLV/FIV test (cats)
- Fecal test
- Flea/tick preventative
- Heartworm preventative
- Heartworm test
- Microchip for permanent identification
- Pet ID tag and registration
- Spay/neuter
- Prior to adoption dogs participate in Mostly Mutts University, where they are trained in basic commands such as, sit, stay, leave it, leash walking, and behavioral issues

About Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue and Adoption
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue and Adoption offers dog and cat adoptions to Atlanta area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The shelter works closely with animal control officers to save vulnerable animals in the communities it serves. Mostly Mutts University (“MMU”) trains adoptable dogs in basic commands to increase their chances of finding a home.
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue and Adoption welcomes monetary donations as well as in-kind contributions from its wish list. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
