About Montgomery County Animal Care and Control

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control partners with Pets for Patriots to help Clarksville area veterans adopt their new best friends.

In addition, the shelter manages Montgomery County – Ft. Campbell Stray Animal Facility to handle stray animal care, adoptions, and pet fostering at Ft. Campbell. Service members who live on base are required to have all veterinary care at the adjacent veterinary clinic, including mandatory spay/neuter.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, and enforces state and local animal-related laws both in Montgomery County and at Ft. Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Division.
