About LifeLine at DeKalb County Animal Services
LifeLine at DeKalb County Animal Services offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The open admission shelter is managed by Lifeline Animal Project, which aims to make Atlanta a “no kill” community.
In addition to offering companion pet adoption, LifeLine at DeKalb County Animal Services provides humane care and veterinary treatment for the animals in their charge, pet reclaim services for lost animals and rescue group coordination. The shelter regularly transports animals out-of-state in order to save more lives, and offers SNIP DeKalb to provide free spay/neuter and vaccinations to qualified pets living in the county.
