K9.5 Rescue

K9.5 Rescue offers dog adoptions to Simpsonville area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The rescue specializes in dogs in need of loving homes who are overlooked due to age, size or special physical and emotional needs. All dogs in the care of K9.5 Rescue live in foster homes, where they are evaluated and socialized prior to adoption.

The organization operates an animal sanctuary for those pets that, for various reasons, are unlikely to be adopted in spite of living productive lives. As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership, K9.5 Rescue offers educational seminars, as well as information about pit bulls, Great Pyrenees and general pet care.
