About Humane Society of Indianapolis
The Humane Society of Indianapolis offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. Since 1905, the Humane Society of Indianapolis has upheld its mission to treat all animals with dignity and respect so that they may live free from cruelty, harm and neglect.
The organization has veterinarians on staff to support the medical care of the animals in their charge and offers a range of services, including positive reinforcement behavior training, a low-cost vaccine clinic and affordable membership to their enclosed Pet Park.
The Humane Society of Indianapolis welcomes your donation of cleaning supplies, pet toys, blankets and other essentials; see their donation wish list for details. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
