Humane Society of Greenwood offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans in its community in partnership with Pets for Patriots.

In addition to pet adoption, Humane Society of Greenwood offers a free online pet lost-and-found. The organization’s Furry Tales Story Time program lets children read to a shelter dog at the Greenwood County Library, one of many humane outreach efforts in the community.
