About Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village
Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village offers dog and cat adoptions to Pets for Patriots members in the Geauga County community and will help them find their new best friend. Founded in 1974, Rescue Village is a limited admission, unlimited stay shelter that takes pride in its kennel enrichment programs and extensive volunteer involvement.
Animals at Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village are never euthanized due to age, special needs or lack of space. All animals are cared for until they find a home, including those that are abused, sick or injured, need behavior training or simply need time. In addition to pet adoptions, Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village funds a humane law department, which has agents on call 24/7 to investigate cruelty complaints and to act as first responders for sick, injured or stray animals.
Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind donations of pet food, various kennel supplies and barn items; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
