Fredericksburg SPCA offers dog and cat adoptions to Fredericksburg area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The shelter, known as Fred SPCA, offers many services in addition to pet adoption. Its pet food pantry provides temporary assistance to people in financial distress, and a dedicated fund helps pay for emergency veterinary care for animals in need.
Fred SPCA encourages humane education through its Compassionate Care Camp and youth volunteer programs. The organization’s Adventure Tails program takes shelter pets out of the shelter for a day to relieve their stress.
Fred SPCA welcomes tax-deductible monetary donations. For a more hands-on experience, consider becoming one of their valued foster families, or an adult or youth volunteer.Fredericksburg SPCA offers dog and cat adoptions to Fredericksburg area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
