About EASEL Animal Rescue League
EASEL Animal Rescue League offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.
Founded in 2008, the “no-kill” rescue has assumed management of the Ewing Township Municipal Shelter. The organization provides companion pet rescue, training and adoption, humane education to the public, and trap/neuter/release (TNR) of feral cats in the community.
To help reduce pet overpopulation, EASEL Animal Rescue League offers low-cost spay/neuter for pets of low-income residents and collaborates with area animal welfare organizations to reduce the number of unwanted pet births. In addition, the rescue has a robust pet training program which includes an in-home assessment, if needed, to help a newly adopted dog adjust to its environment.
EASEL Animal Rescue League welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of various dog and cat foods, treats and toys, and other pet supplies. See their wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
