About Concerned Citizens for Animals
Concerned Citizens for Animals (CCA) offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Greenville and Pickens counties, South Carolina, and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Founded in 1980, CCA is the oldest no-kill shelter in Upstate South Carolina. All animals are fully vetted upon arrival at CCA, which dedicates considerable resources to providing its shelter residents with first-class care and socialization.
Testament to its commitment to humane animal welfare, CCA offers various services to reduce pet overpopulation and provide humane education. Its Feral Cat Colony Support Program offers a non-lethal way to reduce feral cat populations, and CCA’s low-cost spay/neuter program helps people alter their pets affordably. CCA publishes a quarterly newsletter, PawPrints, which highlights pet care tips, adoption stories, memorials and dedications, how donations are used and other useful information about the shelter.
Concerned Citizens for Animals CCA accepts monetary donations. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
