About Casey’s Safe Haven
Casey’s Safe Haven offers dog adoptions to veterans in the Westmont, Illinois community through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.
Originally an equine rescue, in 2012 the organization expanded to include the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs at risk of death who are pulled from shelters in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas. Casey’s Safe Haven specializes in saving special needs dogs, including those with orthopedic needs, senior dogs, and dogs will parvo, other illnesses or those that are victims of animal cruelty.
Veterans interested to adopt a dog through Casey’s Safe Haven can meet them at one of the organization’s adoption events, or can schedule a private meeting at the Horse Rescue Center.
Casey’s Safe Haven welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of dog food, gas gift cards, leashes, collars and other items. See their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
