About Anne Arundel County Animal Control
Anne Arundel County Animal Control offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.
As part of its commitment to the residents of Anne Arundel County, the open admission shelter has active volunteer and foster programs to support companion pet adoptions. In addition, they offer weekly low-cost rabies vaccinations to Maryland residents on Thursdays from 12pm-3pm, and monthly microchip clinics on the third Thursday of each month from 12pm-3pm. The shelter is responsible for enforcement of all animal-related laws, including cruelty and abuse, and works actively to reunite lost pets with their families.
Anne Arundel County Animal Control is committed to the humane treatment of both domestic animals and wildlife in the county, and maintains an Animal Welfare Council to promote these values in the community. For a hands on opportunity to support their mission, become a volunteer or pet foster.
Adoption Fees Include:
Rabies and distemper vaccination
