MARLA DICANDIA
DIRECTOR AND TREASURER
With over 30 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles in technology, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations, Marla is currently Chief Financial Officer of the network headquarters of Boys Hope Girls Hope, a nonprofit organization focused on nurturing and guiding motivated young people throughout their educational journey.
After starting her career at Arthur Andersen, Marla’s prior professional experience includes COO roles at Accredible and FleishmanHillard and CFO roles at Genelco/Navisys, Transentric and the Jewish Community Center.
Marla is a Certified Public Accountant, has a SHRM-CP designation, and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy and a minor in music. She also earned an MBA from Creighton University in 2018 and completed the COO program through MIT/Emeritus in 2024.
In 2012 Marla joined the Board as Director and was subsequently elected to Treasurer.
