Pets for Patriots supports adoptions for life by reducing the barriers for veterans adopting pets and lowering the costs to care for them.
So how do we do it? Through broad-based benefits that make pet adoption more affordable for our nation’s heroes.
Access to quality, discounted veterinary care: brick-and-mortar veterinary practices, 24/7 veterinary telehealth and telemedicine, and walk-in wellness clinics. Curated savings on pet goods and services, including pet medication. Personal follow up with every single adopter for at least one year. And dedicated programs for veterans in crisis so they are not faced with surrendering their adopted pets.

Adoption Specials
Our shelter partners provide at least one additional benefit to you upon adoption, such as pet training, ‘day one’ essentials or adoption fee discounts.
Veterinary care savings
Three great ways to save: at least 10% off fees through our veterinary partner network, 20% off your first year of Vetster Plus veterinary telehealth/telemedicine, and $10 off each visit or purchase at both VIP Petcare Community Clinics, and PetVet walk-in clinics at select Tractor Supply stores.

'Welcome home' gift card
One-time $200 pet retailer gift card to help you buy pet food, supplies, and essentials for your new pet. May be used online or in-store. Arrangements available for veterans without internet access.
