Become a Pets for Patriots member!

Joining is free. Our network of shelters, SPCAs, humane societies and rescues is the primary destination for our member Patriots to honorably adopt a last-chance pet. Benefits include:

• Increased adoption of adult and other at-risk dogs and cats
• Reduction in pet ‘recycling;’ we connect adopters with reduced cost care to ease the costs associated with pet ownership, including minimum 10% reduction in veterinary care for the life of the adopted dog or cat
• Community recognition for aligning with a cause that supports both hard-to-place animals and our troops
• Promotion of your shelter as one of our community partners, including a free profile of your shelter on our website; we’ll do it all for you
• Full adoption authority remains with you, including your customary evaluation of the potential adopter to ensure that the animal is placed in an appropriate home

• Downloadable staff guide with information on what is an eligible pet and the documentation that our member Patriots must provide upon their first visit
• Free Pets for Patriot badge for your homepage
• Pre-written press release to use in your own media outreach or newsletters
• Printer-friendly flyers in both black-and-white and color

In addition, we’ll send you a starter set of educational brochures and a set of Kennel Tags, laminated, reusable tags that can be hole-punched and zip-tied to kennels of Pets for Patriots eligible pets, giving them greater visibility to potential adopters. Replenishments can be ordered through us at our not-for-profit cost (no markup) and sent from our digital printer directly to you.
