Safe Harbor Animal Hospital provides veterinary care to animals at its Sanctuary as well as to the public. The organization offers pet adoptions and veterinary care to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Palm Beach County and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. The no-kill oganization prioritizes animals that are sick, injured, abused, neglected or abandoned. In addition to dog and cat adoptions, Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital operates programs that nurture the person-pet bond, such as basic dog obedience and canine therapy classes.

To help reduce pet overpopulation that often contributes to neglect, Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital offers low-cost spay/neuter in addition to complete veterinary care through its publicly available pet hospital. The hospital is staffed by four full-time veterinarians who provide a range of routine and surgical care.

Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital welcomes monetary donations. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or a pet foster.
