About Young-Williams Animal Center
Young-Williams Animal Center offers dog and cat adoptions to Pets for Patriots members and will help them find their new best friend. The pubic shelter serves the city of Knoxville and Knox County, Tennessee from its 22,000 square foot facility.
The mission of the Young-Williams Animal Center is to serve the community through innovative approaches to sheltering, adopting, and spay/neuter of animals. As part of its commitment to humane education, the shelter offers a range of on-site and off-site programs for businesses, schools and other groups, as well as educational information on pet care, animal laws and other vital resources for pet owners and the community at large. In addition, the shelter maintains a pet lost and found, a pantry program for those in need of food assistance, and a low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Young-Williams Animal Center welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of various pet supplies, pet food and medical supplies; see their wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
