About Stamford Animal Care & Control
Stamford Animal Care & Control (SACC) offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in the Stamford community. A no-kill shelter, SACC is dedicated to preserving the dignity and life of the animals in its charge, which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and others. As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership and reducing pet overpopulation, SACC spays or neuters all animals prior to adoption. The organization provides other necessary municipal services, including cruelty investigations, stray animal impound and tending to injured or sick animals in the community.
SACC offers free obedience practice sessions for the community on Wednesday nights. To help, donate items from their wish list, and spread the word on their adoptable pets.
Adoption fees include:
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip for permanent identification
Two private training sessions with a partner trainer, courtesy of supporting not-for-profit OPIN
Member Patriot exclusives: Three bags of dog treats or box of cat litter
