About Salt Lake County Animal Services

Salt Lake County Animal Services partners with Pets for Patriots to help Salt Lake area veterans adopt their new best friends.

In addition to pet adoption, Salt Lake County Animal Services is responsible for animal control, cruelty investigations, pet licensing, and enforcement of animal-related ordinances. The shelter’s low-cost veterinary clinic offers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and other basic services on an appointment basis.

Salt Lake County Animal Services welcomes monetary donations. In-kind donation needs can be found on their wish list. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
