About Redlands Animal Shelter

The Redlands Animal Shelter offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Redlands and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Operated by the city’s Police Animal Control Unit, the organization provides all animal care and control, as well as dog and cat adoption services throughout the Redlands community.

As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership and education, the Redlands Animal Shelter offers information on current animal welfare laws and licensing, owner surrender and pet reclaimation. The Redlands Animal Shelter works in cooperation with the REDlands Friends of Shelter Animals (REDFOSA), an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that supports the shelter’s mission to provide a safe haven for lost, stray and unwanted animals. REDFOSA aims to improve the visibility and adoption potential of the animals in its charge through various outreach and community events.
