About PAWS for Life Animal Welfare & Protection Society

PAWS for Life Animal Welfare & Protection Society offers dog adoptions to member patriots and will help them find their new best friend. Founded in 1978, the all volunteer, no-kill shelter began as a collective of animal welfare enthusiasts fostering last-chance pets in private homes, and currently maintains a shelter facility for the care of animals in its charge.

The organization is dedicated to educating the public about humane pet population control and responsible pet ownership. PAWS for Life encourages all family members, human and animal, visit the shelter when considering a new addition.

PAWS for Life Animal Welfare & Protection Society welcomes monetary donations for both ongoing operating expenses and its current capital campaign to construct a larger shelter facility. The new campus will be LEED-certified to ensure the most healthful environment for people and pets, and will feature a doggie day care and veterinary center.
