Paws and Prayers

Paws and Prayers partners with Pets for Patriots to help Akron area veterans adopt companion dogs and cats.

The shelter is comprised of an all-volunteer network of foster homes that provide care and socialization for each animal until adopted. While in foster care, all Paws and Prayers’ animals receive necessary medical care and socialization in a home environment.

Paws and Prayers welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters. Those interested to donated in-kind goods are encouraged to do so at any Paws and Prayers adoption event, or at the Chapel Hill PetSmart in Paws and Prayers’ name.
