Pasco County Animal Services offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The organization is the only municipal shelter in Pasco County.
In addition to pet adoption, Pasco County Animal Services provides animal control services, licensing, and humane education programs. The shelter offers a Dog Watch Program to increase awareness of responsible pet ownership. Facility tours are available, and a range of free animal health and safety information is posted on its website.
Pasco County Animal Services welcomes volunteers age 16 and older for responsibilities such as dog walking, adoption aide, cat socializer, and photographer. See their complete list of volunteer opportunities for more information and to apply.
