About North Florida Animal Rescue
North Florida Animal Rescue offers pet adoptions to our member patriots and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Located on 108 acres of land, which includes an enclosed dog park and adoption center, the organization strives to treat all animals in its charge with dignity and respect. The majority of dogs and cats at the North Florida Animal Rescue come from animal controls or other animal welfare organizations that are unable to accept them due to space limitations.
The organization was founded and provided start up funding by Anthea Duron, a lifelong animal lover and supporter of many animal welfare causes. As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership and humane pet population control, North Florida Animal Rescue offers a range of programs, including pet care classes, spay/neuter programs, microchip and spay/neuter clinic, as well as dog training and AKC Canine Good Citizen training for veterans and their pets.
North Florida Animal Rescue welcomes monetary donations, and contributions of cleaning supplies, pet food and toys and other supplies. See their wish list for complete details.
