About Mobile SPCA

The Mobile SPCA offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Since 1885, the Mobile SPCA has operated as a limited intake, no-kill shelter serving Mobile and surrounding communities. As part of its mission to prevent animal cruelty and relieve their suffering, the organization is working towards Mobile becoming a no-kill city by 2015. To reduce pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership, the Mobile SPCA has a spay/neuter assistance program and is a Maddie's Fund shelter.

In addition to monetary donations, the Mobile SPCA welcomes individuals who are interested to become one of their valued volunteers. To further support its work, the organization operates a Second Chance Retail Shop and offers branded merchandise for sale, the proceeds of which help fund operations.
