About Meridian Valley Humane Society
Meridian Valley Humane Society offers adoptable dogs to Pets for Patriots member Patriots and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. The organization is comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who care for and adopt out animals housed in the Meridian Animal Shelter. To date, the Meridian Valley Humane Society has a 100% adoption rate for adoptable pets.
The Meridian Valley Humane Society promotes spay/neuter as a humane method of addressing pet overpopulation. As part of its dedication to public education, the organization participates in a Black Dog Walk the second Sunday of each month at 1pm at the Ram in Boise to bring attention to Black Dog Syndrome. There is no fee to participate in the walk.
The Meridian Valley Humane Society welcomes monetary donations to support the pets in their charge, as well as to fund the construction of a new animal shelter. Wish list items, including dog dishes, collars, carriers, food, leashes and other items, may be donated by contacting the shelter directly. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or a pet foster.
Adoption fees include:
Spay/neuter
Vaccination for Canine Distemper-Adenovirus; Type II Parainfluenza, Parvo, Corona and Bordatella
Rabies vaccination (most dogs)
