About Logan’s Run Rescue
Adoptions available in Western North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee
Logan’s Run Rescue offers dog adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Cherokee and neighboring counties in North Carolina, as well as in Northern Georgia and Eastern Tennessee.
The all-volunteer, all-foster rescue was founded in 2009 by a group of shelter volunteers to help save stray and abandoned animals. As part of its commitment to reduce pet overpopulation, Logan’s Run Rescue offers a low-cost spay/neuter program. In addition, the rescue provides up to three free dog tags to families in North Georgia and Southwest North Carolina to assist in lost pet identification.
All dogs in the care of Logan’s Run Rescue live in volunteer foster homes, where they are evaluated and socialized prior to adoption.
Logan’s Run Rescue accepts monetary donations; for a more hands on experience, consider becoming a volunteer pet foster.
Adoption fees include:
Spay/neuter surgery
Primary vaccinations, including rabies
Heartworm test
Microchip for permanent identification
Temperament training and socialization
