Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital is a full service, family-owned veterinary facility offering compassionate and state-of-the-art veterinary care to residents in Young Harris and surrounding areas. In operation since 2005, owner and veterinarian Dr. Hilty Burr has expertise in companion animal medicine, and was previously a Director of U.S. Veterinary Services for the Companion Animal Division of Pfizer. In 2010, he teamed with Dr. Jim McClearen to open Tri-County Animal Clinic in Murphy, North Carolina, also a Pets for Patriots veterinary partner.

All the personnel at Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital and Tri-County Animal Clinic are committed to responsible pet ownership, preventative health and owner education. Each practice is licensed and experienced in complete medical, surgical and wellness care, and offer a wide range of services for companion animals.
