Labrador Retriever Rescue of Connecticut (LRRCT) offers dog adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots living in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York City, and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Founded in 1996, LRRCT focuses mostly on Labrador Retrievers from shelters, veterinarians and owner surrenders, but accepts compatible retriever mixes as well. The organization has a strict spay/neuter requirement and a meticulous adoption process to ensure the proper, permanent and optimum placement of animals into loving homes.

LRRCT needs cash donations, various pet supplies and offers opportunities to sponsor a particular animal. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or provide a pet awaiting adoption a safe, loving foster home.
