About Humane Society of Missouri Maryland Hts

The Humane Society of Missouri offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friend. In operation since 1870, the shelter has been and remains dedicated to second chances, and provides a safe, caring haven to all animals who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.

As part of its mission to end the cycle of animal abuse and pet overpopulation, the Humane Society of Missouri provides cruelty investigations, spay/neuter programs and humane education classes through locations in Maryland Heights,  St. Louis and Chesterfield. The organization is committed to creating lasting bonds between people and pets through adoption, and supports this bond by making available world-class veterinary care, as well as outstanding obedience and behavior programs.

Pets for Patriots members who adopt an eligible pet through the Humane Society of Missouri will receive an ongoing 10% discount at its veterinary centers.

The Humane Society of Missouri welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of Kuranda beds, blankets, towels, washable pet toys and other items; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
