About Humane Society of Columbiana County

The Humane Society of Columbiana County offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Columbiana County and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. The organization is the founding member of an animal welfare coalition which aims to make Columbiana the first county in Ohio to achieve “no kill” status.

In addition to pet adoption, the Humane Society of Columbiana County offers various programs to foster the person-pet bond. Its new Guardian Angel Program gives pets requiring extra care the best chance at recovery and adoption. As part of its commitment to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce pet overpopulation, the Humane Society of Columbiana County offers various humane education programs and low-cost spay/neuter services.
