In operation since 1945, the organization operates as a no-kill shelter and does not turn away any sick animal that can be treated, rehabilitated and adopted to a loving home.

As part of its commitment to responsible pet guardianship, the Gulf Coast Humane Society offers low-cost spay neuter services to the public, helpful puppy and cat care tips, as well as important information about heartworms and de-clawing.
