About Champaign County Humane Society
The Champaign County Humane Society offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Established in 1889 as a branch of the Illinois Humane Society, it is funded entirely by donations from individuals and local businesses. Owing to a strong commitment to the rehabilitation and health of animals in its charge, the Champaign County Humane Society has both full- and part-time veterinary and medical staff on premises. Puppy training and basic manners classes for dogs are available; advanced registration is required.
The Champaign County Humane Society offers a variety of ways to support its operations, including memorials, honorariums, planned giving and adopt a day programs, and welcomes donations from its wish list. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
