Carteret County Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to Newport area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The organization protects, shelters and promotes the adoption of homeless animals. To help people and pets, Carteret County Humane Society posts a pet lost-and-found online, and educates the public about spay/neuter and pet identification.
