About Animal Welfare League
The Animal Welfare League offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots in Chicagoland and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. Founded in 1935 to stop the suffering of animals, the organization has grown to include a state-of-the-art, full service shelter and a veterinary clinic, which is open to the public. As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership, the Animal Welfare League offers a range of community programs, including humane education, abuse investigations and animal rescues, pet food give-a-ways and pet therapy.
The Veterinary Clinic is licensed and experienced in complete medical, surgical and wellness care, and offers a wide range of services for companion animals:
Adoption fees include:
Spay/neuter
Vaccinations, including rabies
Microchip for permanent identification
Parasite treatment if needed
Collar, leash and tag (dogs)
Carrier (cats)
