About Animal Protective Foundation
The Animal Protective Foundation (APF) offers pet adoptions to Pets for Patriots member Patriots and will assist them in selecting their new best friend. The APF has many wonderful adult dogs, cats and large dogs available for adoption. In addition to pet adoption, the APF offers dog training classes, humane education, stray housing, support for animal cruelty cases and various special events. They have a veterinarian on staff and have operated continuously since 1931 as an independent not-for-profit organization.
Every adopted dog or cat will have received approximately $300 worth of veterinary care. If you're interested in helping the APF care for their dogs and cats, please make a contribution to their wish list or become one of their valued volunteers.
Adoption fees include:
Medical history with information about physical exam
Spay/neuter surgery
Routine blood tests
Standard vaccinations and flea/ear mite treatments (as needed)
Collar, leash and ID tag
