Animal Friends Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions and will help Pets for Patriots members find their new best friend. The organization is the largest, oldest non-profit animal adoption agency in Butler County, Ohio, with a mission to promote humane principles,  protect lost, homeless, abandoned and mistreated animals, and act as advocates for animals in the communities they serve.

The shelter maintains an on-site veterinary clinic for spay/neuter and for the medical treatment of dogs and cats in their care. To increase adoptions of the animals in their charge, Animal Friends Humane Society participates in a wide range of community adoption, humane education and fundraising events.
