U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command

Pets for Patriots is a proud community support network member of the U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command (USAWTC).

This one-star command serves under the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) as the central comprehensive source for warrior care support across the Army. The U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) is the official Army program of the USAWTC that assists and advocates for severely wounded, ill and injured soldiers and veterans, and their families, regardless of location or military status.

As a community support network member, Pets for Patriots participates in quarterly USAWTC conference calls to learn about and help address issues impacting the lives of our wounded warriors and their families.
