About The Animal Shelter of Texas County

The Animal Shelter of Texas County (TASTC) offers dog and cat adoptions and will assist Pets for Patriots members in finding their new best friend. Since its founding in 2006, TASTC has placed hundreds of dogs and cats each year who had been left to fend for themselves in all types of weather conditions, were abused, or surrendered by owners who simply could not keep them any longer.

TASTC is a no-kill animal shelter, where all animals are given a safe haven until they are adopted out into loving homes. While the organization primarily serves residents of Texas County, it transports dogs and cats all over the United States.

About Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital

Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice offering personalized, high quality, state-of-the-art care to Fairbanks residents. Founded in 1971, the hospital has held the prestigious AAHA accreditation since 1976, a distinction certifying that it meets the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

The practice is home to several veterinarians and a compassionate care team that treat all animals as their own. The practice is licensed and experienced in all aspects of medical, surgical and wellness care and offers a wide range of services for companion animals, birds (domestic and wild) and exotic pets.

About PAWS Chicago

Paws Chicago is the largest no-kill animal humane organization in the midwest and will help Pets for Patriots member find their new best friend. Since its founding in 1997, the shelter has reduced pet overpopulation through public education, innovative off-site adoption events and a commitment to free/low-cost spay neuter to reduce pet overpopulation.

In 2001, PAWS Chicago opened its Lurie Spay/Neuter Clinic, the largest of its kind in the Chicago area, and operates a mobile spay/neuter service through a partnership with the PETCO Foundation. In addition, the organization operates a veterinary clinic that is open to the public, where it provides vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative (dogs), FelV/FIV testing (cats), spay/neuter surgery, flea treatment and microchip for permanent identification.

About Richmond SPCA Clinic for Compassionate Care

The Richmond SPCA Clinic for Compassionate Care provides high quality, full-service veterinary care to income-qualified individuals, pets in the care of local government shelters and Pets for Patriots members. The Clinic is part of the Richmond SPCA, itself founded in 1891, as a non-profit, no-kill humane organization dedicated to the principle that every life is precious. The Richmond SPCA is a national leader in humane care and education, having developed numerous lifesaving programs and services including those dedicated to adoption, rehabilitation, sterilization and education.

The Clinic for Compassionate Care is in addition to the organization’s existing low-cost spay/neuter clinic which, since 2004, has helped to reduce pet overpopulation throughout Greater Richmond. As part of its commitment to responsible pet ownership, the organization operates behavior helpline services and offers pet behavior classes as well.

The veterinarians and staff at the Clinic for Compassionate Care are all animal lovers and treat each pet as their own. The Clinic is licensed and experienced in complete medical, surgical and wellness care, and offers a wide range of services to companion animals.

About Richmond SPCA

The Richmond SPCA, founded in 1891, is a non-profit, no-kill humane organization dedicated to the principle that every life is precious. The Richmond SPCA is a national leader in humane care and education, having developed numerous lifesaving programs and services including those dedicated to adoption, rehabilitation, sterilization and education. They save the lives of more than 3,000 homeless animals each year and care for about 350 cats and dogs daily.

The Richmond SPCA is not affiliated with any other private animal welfare organization or SPCA, but regularly transfers pets from local municipal agencies into their care so that they may receive lifesaving treatment and be adopted to loving new homes. Of the more than 3,000 homeless animals in their care each year, they transfer more than 70 percent of them through these relationships. The remaining 30 percent are surrendered to them by their owners.

The Richmond SPCA operates a full-service veterinary clinic, provides free and low-cost spay/neuter and behavior helpline services and offers pet behavior classes, children’s educational programs, a pet pantry and numerous volunteer programs. Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital offering compassionate, personalized and state-of-the-art care to Katy residents. In operation since 1981, the multi-veterinarian practice emphasizes preventative care to optimize the health and longevity of the animals they treat.

As part of this approach, Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic offers a full complement of diagnostic services, as well as nutritional counseling to help clients provide the most appropriate nutrition for the breed, age and health of their pets. About The Orange County Humane Society

The Orange County Humane Society provides temporary safe refuge for sick, injured, lost, neglected, abused and unwanted animals, and will help Pets for Patriots members find their new best friend. They recognize that in many cases they are an animal’s last hope, and take seriously the obligation to rescue and rehome them.

As part of its commitment to owner education and responsible pet ownership, the Orange County Humane Society offers a variety of programs and classes ranging from pet care for new owners to animal safety. In addition to its core mission of pet adoption, the shelter works in tandem with animal control to enforce licensing and other animal ordinances, reunites owners with lost pets and takes in owner surrendered animals.

About Corridor Rescue

Corridor Rescue saves animals abandoned in the I/59 and York areas of Houston and will assist Pets for Patriots members in finding their new best friend. The organization describes its mission as one of ‘mercy, rescue and awareness’ to save lives and correct injustices to animals who have been thrown away, often injured, and left to starve or die. The area where these animals are abandoned is dubbed the “corridor of cruelty.”

All animals saved by Corridor Rescue are fostered until adoption, where they can feel safe and be rehabilitated, socialized and trained until they are placed in their forever homes. About El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital

El Cajon Valley Veterinary Hospital (ECVVH) is a full service hospital offering high quality, compassionate care for both small animals and equines. Since 1949, the practice has been serving East San Diego County with a range of traditional, alternative and urgent care.
