Patriot story: Bradley and Moe

Story Details

Background:

Bradley is a Navy veteran who adopted Moe in November 2014 through our partnership with Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a then six-year old Chihuahua mix.

The bonds formed during my service have continued beyond my enlistment and I stay in touch with some of my former shipmates to this day. That brotherhood and watching out for one another is truly unique.
Why I chose to adopt a pet
I feel adopting is a way for both adopter and pet to enrich each others lives .
Why I chose to adopt through Pets for Patriots
I connected with the veterans aspect plus appreciate the fact that some of the pets are harder to place and may have top live in shelters or euthanized. They all have so much to offer but need a chance
How my honorably adopted pet has changed my life
Moe has been a steady faithful companion and always happy to be with me! He cheers me up and has touched lives of those around me!
What I love most about my new pet friend
His eagnerness to go on new adventures he also likes to sleep in my arms so that is a comforting feeling

Moe has changed my life for the better and I am so glad and feel fortunate for the bonds formed
In November: Moe and I are getting along quite well .a perfect companion and good friend. We are getting used to each other and adjusted to the new friendship.We enjoy chasing balls at the nearby dog park. Then home for a quick nap.
