Quotes:

Info from the rescue at the time of adoption; any details used MUST be verified with Glen: Twix, now known as Cato, has met his match! Army veteran Glen and his wife Marlene have always given animals their hearts. Over time, they have had numerous pets, including two who just showed up at their door and adopted them. This time the story has a bit of a twist. One day in January, a very handsome fellow who appears to be a cross between a German Shepard and a Blue Heeler simply showed up at the doorstep of a house in the mountainous area served by Logan’s Run Rescue in Murphy, NC. The boy was brought to Logan’s and the finder agreed to foster him while the rescue looked for his family. Alas, no one came forward. But along came Glen, now a semi-truck driver for over 30 years, who served in transport in the U.S. Army from 1978-1981. After a stint as a recruiter’s aide, he was sent to Frankfurt, Germany, where he drove many high level diplomats for the NSA. And when he saw Twix recently, there was no denying the match! Soon, newly named Cato may become his “truckin’ buddy,” riding shotgun on some of Glen’s runs. If not, he will be home with all of the humans and critters in his new family, including Savannah, a 6 1/2 year old Aussie; Mr. T, a 6 year old Bichon/Poodle rescue; and 16 year old rescue cat Molly. It sure sounds like Cato is traveling with the right pack now!
